There and Back Again,
A Bevans Tale

Picture of U.S. & borders

The adventure began in the high Rocky Mountains of Bozeman Montana, where Seth and Brittany Bevans did nine years of cross-cultural ministry, at Montana State University.  In 2017 the Bevans moved to the coastal lands of Eastern Canada to help vision-cast and trail-blaze international student ministry, where the efforts of student outreach were greatly needed.  With a new scope of experience, they returned to their beloved Montana in 2020 and will continue reaching out to foreign students and support cross-cultural bridge-building among like-minded churches of Billings.

Seth and Brittany have been involved in the lives of many international students. As the Bevans family grew, so did their hearts for students who were so far away from their own families.  Connecting with international students and student families is what the Bevans love, as they invest in the lives of others, to bring people together with each other and with God.  Many Christians across the country seek to create supportive communities and a "local home" and community for international students, to reflect God's great love for people of the nations.  Seth and Brittany promote and invest in that effort and vision.

How did Seth & Brittany meet?
...Because of international students!

In 2002 Seth Bevans migrated North from Wyoming where he had started at the state university, but decided to move to Montana and live with relatives while attending school in Bozeman.

Brittany Hamilton grew up in Poland, where her parents did Christian ministry for the Church there. She attended high school in Black Forrest Germany, and returned to Montana in 2006, where her family was originally from.

Because of their backgrounds and similar interests in other cultures, these two young followers of Jesus both loved befriending and helping international students.  During group events they became acquainted and loved helping students together, eventually falling in love with each other as well!  After getting married in 2010, they committed to the vision of international student ministry, and began the life-long quest together!

Seth and Brittany both attended Montana State University for general credits, and their B.A. degrees are from an accredited Christian school called Montana Bible College. They were trained and equipped for service in the Church, various ministries, and spiritual outreach. Their degrees are in the fields of Christian Ethics & Culture, and Biblical Counselling.

Seth worked for the nationwide organization ISI-International Students Inc., as Campus Staff 2007-2017.

Seth and Brittany then relocated to work for ISMC-International Student Ministries Canada, 2017-2020, as City Directors and Regional Chairman, in New Brunswick, Canada.

They are now back in Montana, serving in Billings, with their three kids- Moriah, Asher, and Korban- and commissioned directly from Grace Bible Church, Bozeman.
